"Inadequacies of Care," 2023
"Inadequacies of Care" is an installation which questions the delineation of reverence and indifference as well as the separation of public and private spaces of remembrance. The installation combines found, archival, and personal photographs alongside scultpural photo-objects, works.
The concept of "inadequate care" is a dynamic point of inquiry in Cheung's practice. Variations on this installation, which include artworks shown here and elsewhere, can be found under projects such as "Rituals of Remembrance" or "After Thought."
